This follows Malema's outburst at the University of Zululand on Monday, where he referred to Mangosuthu Buthelezi as a "factory fault".
Acting national IFPYB chairperson Pat Lebenya-Ntanzi yesterday demanded that Malema should apologise.
She said they wondered how "Malema would react if the IFPYB started a verbal barrage on ANC president Jacob Zuma".
"Prince Buthelezi has always walked the moral high ground while the ANC president and Malema himself have on numerous occasions made the news for all the wrong reasons."
Lebenya-Ntanzi said in the past the country's leaders had advocated the values of liberation and were about bringing democracy to the country, freedom to the people and the hope to a nation.
"Today the ANC presents us with leaders such as Julius Malema, whose violent, racist rhetoric and total disrespect for our democracy and our Constitution can only be considered an embarrassment to the youth of South Africa."
Malema, while campaigning for Sasco at the University of Zululand, also called the IFP a terrorist organisation that had collaborated with the apartheid state to unleash terror on black people.
"We find his terrorist comments laughable. If there is a terrorist among us it is definitely Malema," she said.
"He continues to terrorise the South African society with his rabble-rousing nonsense and his grossly distorted version of reality and our collective history.
"The IFPYB is calling on Malema to withdraw his statements because they are derogatory, grossly inaccurate and offensive.
"If he doesn't we will be forced to seek legal advice on this matter."
