"Our divers are busy searching for the men. Their boat capsized at about 10am while they were fishing in the river," said Sergeant Gerald Sedibe.
Sedibe said police had already opened an inquest docket.
ER24 spokesperson Werner Vermaak said the two went fishing on a home-made boat that capsized on the dam near Nombie Road.
Vermaak said witnesses saw the men trying to swim ashore, but a few minutes later they could not be located. - Sapa
