WE are all used to seeing certain animals in particular places.

WE are all used to seeing certain animals in particular places.

But some are found in unexpected environments.

Some examples include:

lThe flying squirrel, which has a flap of skin along its flanks that acts as a parachute. He uses it to glide from tree to tree.

lThe Emu, which is a bird that has big, powerful legs but no wings.

lThe sea snake that spends its whole life in the water and is sometimes many hundreds of kilometres from land.
