THE who's who of the music industry, business and politics descended on the dusty village of Mareseleng in Limpopo to witness the traditional wedding of Ziyaphenduka Promotions boss Bruce Kgapane and his wife Nolwazi.

Selaelo Selota, Winnie Mashaba, Just Donald, local Sepedi traditional dance group Kiba and many others performed during the ceremony.

Deputy Minister of Defence and Military Veterans Thabang Makwetla, Limpopo education MEC Dickson Masemola, Greater Sekhukhune executive mayor David Magabe and the director of Nelspruit-based Empilweni cash paymaster services Eric Mabuza were among the guests.

Kgapane, originally from the village near Burgersfort in Limpopo, now lives in Nelspruit while his company promotes music and events all over South Africa. He was over the moon.

He told Sowetan that though he married his wife a few years ago, it was compulsory in his tradition to wed again so that Nolwazi would be given a traditional name.

"This is one of the times in my life that I cannot forget. I'm actually over the moon because this strengthens our relationship," Kgapane said.

From yesterday Nolwazi will be called by her new traditional name Napogadi.

"I do not have the words to express myself and my problem is that I cannot pronounce my new name as yet,"Napogadi said.

" I don't know its meaning but the pronunciation and meaning will come later. Oh! I'm so happy."
