ANGLO Platinum has instructed Aucor to sell mining equipment ranging from personnel carriers, underground and surface mining machines, engineering equipment and vehicles.

The auction takes place on Tuesday at 10.30am at RPM Services, Klipfontein, Rustenberg (GPS coordinates: S25.70002, E27.36830).

Items listed to fall under the auction hammer include nine bus trailers, a Hino bus, five Mercedes-Benz, Hino and Toyota horses, tippers and trucks, flat trailers and two skip bin loaders for trucks and late model Tamroc underground drills. The range of loaders and forklifts consists of three underground LHDs, Massey Ferguson and Ursus tractors, three Toyota and Hyser forklifts, a CAT 930 loader and loader buckets.

Added to that is a screen, engineering equipment such as a FFEB Buffalo portable screen, a brake press, threading machine, pedestal drills and grinders, welders and keyway cutters. Concluding the list are a number of vehicles, including eight Toyota Hilux's, a Cressida, a Mitsubishi Pajero and Opels.
