Marumo, who was once in the ranks of Italian giants Inter Milan, lost his place to fellow strikers Alton Meiring, Henrico Botes and Norikazu Murakami.
"The coach obviously knows what he's doing, but I would like to get a run in the side. I would prefer to do my talking on the field, because raving and ranting will not help at all. My contract will expire in June next year and I don't know what is going to happen. All I know is that if you are not appreciated at your club you will be appreciated elsewhere," Marumo said.
He stressed, however, that his heart was still with the Tycoons.
"I have been here for a long time now and I feel very much at home, and going to another club where I will have to get used to the new environment is not something I'm thinking about at the moment.
"The problem is that I'm not playing and at my age I should be playing, not sitting on the bench. I feel there is still a lot that I can offer this club. Against Ajax Cape Town recently, I came on in the last few minutes and I'd like to think that I made a difference."
Several attempts to solicit comment from Steve Komphela and his assistant David Vilakazi were unsuccessful at the time of going to print.
