Superintendent Lesego Metsi said the man was shot on Tuesday after a fight with a security guard. Metsi said a cash van was delivering money near a taxi rank when a minibus taxi blocked its way. A guard approached the four men in the taxi and asked them to make way for the cash van. One of the men tried to grab his firearm. The security guard fought back and shot his assailant in the abdomen. The other three were arrested for attempted robbery.
