SIX hundred youngsters will attend the yearly Dettol Shona Khona soccer coaching and life-skills training sessions at 20 venues across the country at the weekend.

Reckitt Benckiser's education-through-sport development programme caters for future superstars aged between 10 and 16. Out of the 600 hopefuls, 30 will attend a national coaching and life-skills training camp at the Bidvest Wits FC Academy in Johannesburg over three days from November 6.

Out of these 30 candidates, 12 of the most talented youngsters will be selected to go to the Sao Paulo Futebol Academy in Sao Paulo, Brazil, in December for a week of training by international coaches.
