Khoza, who made his mark when he produced Msawawa's debut album, is among the first South African celebrities to do a tell-all memoir in a movie.
Hailing from Claremont in Durban, Khoza says he plans to release the film in cinemas next year.
He says the story traces the life of an ambitious dancer trying to make it in Jozi.
"It is the story of my life. It's about my journey to become the person I am today. It follows me and my six friends leaving Durban not knowing where our next meal will come from."
Khoza says the film features people like Dumisani Dlamini, aka Chester of Yizo Yizo.
"Through the film people will understand where my journey began. I am excited about this project and I think it will give a lot of people a little understanding about my life. The story looks at my ups and downs in theindustry, as I try to make a name for myself."
Khoza says the film will also feature his parents, who were worried when he left Durban for Jozi in 1999.
"My parents were not happy about our journey. Though we took a chance by coming to Jozi we knew that one day things would be okay."
When they came to Jozi they danced for Zola and Mzambiya.
Khoza says he and his friends later formed a kwaito group called Skomplas.
Khoza's project follows the trend set by well-known celebrities such as Britney Spears and rapper M&M.
