Molema's death has sent shock waves through Limpopo and some neighbouring countries since he was highly respected by young and old in many places.
Molema had for the better part of his life used his treasured bicycle, especially on distances below 50km, as a mode of transport without any qualms.
He always sported a short fluffy hairstyle with a comb in his pocket. He used to get very angry if you stopped your car and offered him a lift.
"Do I look like I'm struggling with my bicycle? Molema would ask angrily.
Molema had his own way of exchanging pleasantries. It always included "Ka Kgaogelo ya Modimo" (through God's mercy).
Many people in Seshego did not know his real names, but mention Molodi - a nickname derived from his love of whistling - and they will tell you how caring and humble he was.
Matsawa Tema, a prominent Limpopo businessman, described Molema's death as a big loss to the community.
"He was one of the fittest senior citizens I have ever met," Tema said. "The man loved God and was always full of jokes."
Molema, who worked at Sales House in Polokwane for decades until his retirement, was born in GaMadibana village in GaMalebogo on March 12 1912.
His love for the Bible started at an early age in the village where he lived and in other southern Africa countries with church elders.
Molema also worked in Botswana to spread the word of God.
It was because of his love for God that many families approached him to conduct burial services for them after their priests failed to turn up for various reasons.
Molema, who will be buried at Seshego cemetery tomorrow at 10am, was an active church leader of St Paul Luthern Church in Zone 1.
