TWO Limpopo men accused of repeatedly raping a 16-year-old girl were sentenced to 18 years each.
Mahlatse Modise, 20, and Kay Mangoele, 27, were sentenced by the Thabamoopo magistrate's court yesterday.
The rape took place on March 4 2007 when the men allegedly waylaid three girls who were on their way home after drinking in a tavern.
Police spokesperson Manong Tshehla says two of the girls managed to run away but the men caught the victim, dragged her to Mathomo-Moyo High School where they repeatedly raped her.
Meanwhile, Mphahlele Philemon Mohlatswane, 45, was sentenced to life imprisonment, also by the Thabamoopo magistrate's court, for repeatedly raping a four-year-old girl between August and October 2007.
The man allegedly transported the girl to and from crèche everyday.
