It was not that I hate the man but because my confidence in the judiciary was slightly restored.
We cannot have one man who is hellbent on destroying this critical sphere of government under the guise of transformation and his unproven allegations of racism among colleagues.
He has proven to be dishonest and a liar if one vividly remembers the Oasis saga.
The less said about his attempt to influence two of the Constitutional Court judges to rule in favour of Jacob Zuma the better since it can be reserved for another day.
When I was trained in law one professor told us that judges, besides their qualifications, must be men and women of impeccable credibility, and professional integrity. Whether Hlophe is fit to remain on the bench remains to be seen.
