Help your kids excel at school

LIMPOPO education MEC Dickson Masemola has urged parents to take part in the preparation for their children's exams.

He said children whose parents showed a keen interest in their education tended to achieve good results and that such interest was the best present parents could give their children.

Masemola was speaking at a principals' meeting led by Limpopo premier Cassel Mathale at the Peter Mokaba Stadium on Tuesday.

About 4000 principals, 500 school governing bodies and 275 circuit managers attended.

Masemola said it was the duty of parents to make sure that their children do their homework, check their work and liaise with teachers on performance. - Alex Matlala
