Chief Justice Pius Langa said his goodbye's and thanked everyone, including his wife who died recently, for their support throughout his career.

The farewell function for Justices Langa, Albie Sachs, Yvonne Mokgoro, Kate O'Regan and Tholie Madala was in the Constitutional Court yesterday.

Among those present were representatives from the Association of Law Societies, General Council of the Bar, Speaker of the National Assembly Max Sisulu, and the Minister of Justice and Constitutional Development Jeff Hadebe.

"The Constitutional Court still has a long way to go and it is important that it continues to be supported and encouraged," he said.
