A SERIES of events across the country highlight the difficulties women workers still face.

Our mothers and sisters made huge sacrifices and no amount of lies can erase their fearless struggle for the total emancipation of South Africa.

Some women trained in liberation camps while others remained at home to strategically protect their families.

The media recently reported that a certain company has evil and unholy employment contracts that require women to work for five years before they can become pregnant. Can companies still act so unjustly in a democracy?

Women now have equal rights. How can they continue to be treated like animals. T here are laws to protect them but are these enforced? Women continue to be insulted, tortured and exploited in the workplace and get no help from the Labour Department.
