Like Jordaan, Kirsten Nematandani has also been nominated for the Safa presidency by the Football Transformation Forum (FTF) but Jordaan and Khoza are the main contenders for the post.
This week the FTF sent e-mails to Safa staff assuring them that they will not be fired should their camp win the elections. The e-mails were sent to select Safa staff by the FTF's Dennis Mumble, a former Safa general manager and LOC chief competitions manager.
Surprisingly, the e-mails were not sent to Safa chief executive Raymond Hack, Mumble's wife Pinky Lehoko, Screamer Tshabalala and Bafana Bafana technical staff.
"We are going to win on Saturday. I'm not an employee of Safa. The LOC is a separate legal company with its own board," Jordaan said during a visit to Avusa Media yesterday.
Regarding the e-mails from FTF, a Safa staffer said: "Why send e-mails almost two weeks after their threats to fire certain Safa employees appeared in Sunday World? It shows they are desperate."
Khoza, who has been keeping a low profile during his presidential campaign, could not be reached for comment.
A member of Khoza's group said: "Dr Khoza will be elected Safa president. The man has turned the PSL into one of the richest leagues in the world.
"FTF have made a lot of noise, which in the process is hurting the feelings of many people involved in football. We know they will try to disrupt the elections on Saturday."
Jordaan enjoys support from Fifa, which unsuccessfully advised Safa to postpone the elections, arguing that they will disrupt the 2010 World Cup.
Nakedi Lekota and Mubarak Mohamed from Khoza's group will slug it out against Mwelo Nonkonyana and Mandla Mazibuko from the FTF for the two Safa vice-presidential spots.
