KING of Pop Michael Jackson will come alive in the Big Brother House this week.

In honour of his memory, Big Brother has tasked the housemates with recreating the legend's hit Thriller.

The housemates are expected to learn the song's lyrics and the dance moves in the video and try their best to perfect it.

The housemates will divide themselves into characters and start learning the song and dance moves. They have to choose two people to lead the physical and vocal rehearsals.

They have already started the task and Paloma suggested Emma should lead choreography because of her MJ moves while they were living in the palace, away from the boys.

Yesterday the housemates were provided with the lyrics and a DVD of the music video to help them.

Today Biggie, as Big Brother is also known, will give them decorations for the garden to create the ideal setting for their performance.

Tomorrow they will be provided with costumes and make-up.

Biggie expects the housemates to be creative with everything he gives them and to make use of the space around them.

They are also expected to make their presentation at night.

Meanwhile, things are starting to heat up in the house, with the housemates getting to know each other.

The boys and girls met on Sunday night, soon after Angola's Edna and Zambia's Maggie were evicted. Now it's time for the housemates to to bond.

Kaone from Botswana has already connected with Zambia's Paloma on a more philosophical level during a conversation about women empowerment and development.

Most of the guys think Jennifer from Mozambique is hot.

Phil from Uganda has an eye on Namibia's Rene, while Edward, also from Namibia, has already started flirting with Elizabeth from Tanzania.

Edna and Maggie's eviction brings to four the number of contestants who have been booted out of the house.

Kenya's Teddy and Ghananian Wayoe were evicted two weeks ago.

Twin brothers Erastus and Edward were nominated for eviction but Kevin, as head of the house, replaced Edward with Phil.
