Featuring veteran actress and singer Tembi Mtshali-Jones, the play opened at the Baxter Theatre in Cape Town yesterday.

The story is based on a real-life incident and actual events in Gugulethu in 1993 when American student Amy Biehl was killed .
Biehl was a Fulbright Fellowship student observing the role of women in transitional regimes. She was working in the townships, helping to organise and register women voters for the country's first democratic elections.
Magona has adapted a beautifully imagined conversation between the mother of the murderer and the mother of the victim.
The play recounts the tragedy that befell two families by taking audiences on a painful journey while offering solace .
