CYPSA, launched in June in KwaZulu-Natal, said it was "opposed to the legalisation of prostitution because it was illegal and associated with drugs and crime".
The group held two protest marches in the region to highlight their concerns.
CYPSA secretary Thandazile Buthelezi said they had joined hands with other youth groups to intensify the fight nationwide.
"As youth we feel that this is a serious issue. Legalising prostitution will encourage our youth to take drugs and live reckless lives. We must protect our future leaders."
Buthelezi said members also wanted government agencies to regularly raid taverns and other outlets that encourage drug use and prostitution.
