THEBig Brother Revolution got to a flying start this weekend with two evictions.

Kenyan Teddy Muthusi and Ghanaian Ras Wayoe were the first housemates to be kicked out of the house in the new season. Unfortunately for them they had to leave just as the female inmates were booking in on Sunday.

All along, with the exception of last Sunday when TV personalities Khanyi Mbau and Nonhle Thema were in the house, the show was an all-male affair.

Wayoe told Sowetan he believed he was eliminated because he was not funny enough.

"I am not an entertainer or funny person. So I believe viewers did not find me exciting.

"However, I am proud that I revolutionised the house with my ideas."

Though he knows he was not smart enough to last long in the house, Wayoe said he was shocked when his name was called out.

"I thought I would last longer, but I was told that Africa has spoken."

Wayoe said he would continue with his legal studies and freelance talk show, on which he enjoys engaging people about issues that affect the country.

Muthusi said he did everything by the book but was not too happy about being the first housemate to leave.

"I thought I had done everything right," he said.

But he was also quick to point out he suspected that the little tiff he had with Kaone of Botswana made him an eviction candidate.

"I had a tiff with the Botswana guy. He is very opinionated and I guess I did not understand him."
