JOMO Cosmos are braced for an acid test when they face Free State Stars in an Absa Premiership encounter at Rand Stadium tomorrow at 3.30pm.

Speaking to Sowetan yesterday, Cosmos assistant coach Gerald Mtshali said it was more dangerous to meet a side that has yet to register a victory.

"We expect Stars to throw everything at us in a move to unsettle us. But my boys will be equal to the task and will ensure that they leave Jozi empty-handed," he said.

"I am quite chuffed that we have sorted out minor mistakes that largely contributed to our downfall against Orlando Pirates."

Stars are bottom of the table with no points from four games while Cosmos are a step above them with four points.

lMoroka Swallows hope to surprise second-placed Santos, who they will host at Dobsonville Stadium on Sunday at 3.30pm.

At the same time at Newlands, Ajax Cape Town meet the unpredictable Bidvest Wits.
