SA leaders seem to imitate African looters

IS IT the way of Africa that leaders choose to prop up Europe's economy even after colonisation?

Reports of our cabinet ministers buying the most expensive German cars are worrying.

Our economy is failing, our cities are quaking under litter as councillors misuse funds and officials blatantly award themselves or relatives contracts for jobs that do not even get done and no one assesses the quality of the service.

Joblessness and hunger prevail, but the few at the top wade in excesses at taxpayers expense.

We have watched for years, leaders of parts of Africa looting state coffers for properties in Europe and their relatives shopping there. Are we going the same way? Pity.
