Schultz, who retired in 1998 with an impressive fight record of 12 wins (7 KOs) and two draws, will shake off more than 10 years of ring rust when he fights at Wembley Arena on September 25.
Esteemed mentor Nick Durandt will master Schultz's corner when he fights Oupa Mahlangu, a capable fighter from Mpumalanga whose fight record of three wins and eight defeats does not reflect the kind of boxer he is.
Schultz and Mahlangu's bout will be over six rounds in the super middleweight division. It will be part of Branco Sports Productions (BSP's) four-bout card.
Being out of action for more than a decade does not worry Schultz. Instead he feels strong and confident of winning the South African middleweight belt that is held by Peter Mashamaite.
"For now I want to have good fights, get rated and challenge for the title," said the heavily tattooed 34-year-old yesterday.
Schultz was one of the many promising white fighters who were trained by Brian Mitchell. He has been honing the skills of other fighters.
"I am in a superb condition. I don't know Oupa Mahlangu and I don't care. I am just ready to do what comes naturally," he said.
Meanwhile, Takalani "The Panther" Ndlovu and Kiko "La Sensacion" Martinez will top this bill with their 12 rounder for the IBF junior lightweight title eliminator.
This fight will be televised live on Blow by Blow at 10pm.
