FIFTY-ONE-YEAR-OLD Funani Luthuli, her brother Mfanafuthi Zikhali, daughter Nkosingphile Mkhize, and son-in-law Bongumusa Dube appeared in the Nyoni magistrate's court yesterday accused of murder.
The four were arrested last week for allegedly colluding to assault her other daughter's boyfriend Thembelenkosini Bhele Ntuli, whose body was found floating in a stream at Nyoni last Monday.
Ntuli's sister, Malulu Ntuli, said her brother mysteriously went missing after visiting his girlfriend.
"My brother and his girlfriend were having problems and were on the verge of breaking up.
"On Friday, she phoned him and begged him to come to her home as she wanted them to sort out their problems. That was the last time we saw him alive," said Ntuli.
The four are expected to appear in the Eshowe magistrate's court on Tuesday.
