Armed with AK-47 rifles, the robbers struck a Pick n Pay supermarket and an ice cream shop at the Tseli shopping centre in Moletsane. "They ordered the customers to lie on the floor while they emptied the tills," police said.
The robbers then moved on to an ice cream shop and then fled with "plastic bags filled with money".
