THE Springbok medical team will be working flat out on Bryan Habana to ensure his quick recovery from a hamstring problem.

Ken Borland quoted Dr Craig Roberts as saying on SuperSport: "Bryan is our only significant injury problem and we'll only be able to make a call on his fitness later in the week. His hamstring became tighter and tighter in the first half (against Australia) in Brisbane. There was a risk of a major injury.

"For a sprinter, he needs to be able to run flat out and if he can't, then it becomes quite an easy decision."

Coach Peter de Villiers will name the team to play the All Blacks in Hamilton on Saturday tomorrow. He admitted the Boks had missed Habana's speed in the second half of the Brisbane defeat. - SuperSport
