Berman said Hatton will be a special guest at Golden Gloves' Night of the Gladiators tournament at Emperors Palace on Saturday night.
"He will do live commentary for SuperSport," said Berman. "I will use this opportunity to entice him to fight Lovemore Ndou."
Berman says "Black Panther" Ndou will walk past Matthew Hatton - he's Hatton's young brother - for the IBO title in Manchester, England on November 13. The Australia-based Ndou was to be another luminary at ringside on Saturday night but his daughter's poor health forced him to cancel the trip.
"Pity I won't be there," said Ndou yesterday from New South Wales.
Hatton, voted 2005 Ring magazine and ESPN fighter of the year, is a former two-time IBF and IBO, WBU, WBA, WBC and WBO Intercontinental junior welterweight and WBA welterweight champion.
He has not fought since May 2 after being stopped in two rounds by Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao. He has not indicated whether he will fight again or retire.
Berman's tournament on Saturday will feature IBO junior lightweight champion Zolani Marali against South Korea's Ji Hoon Kim, an IBO Africa lightweight vacant title fight between Grant Fourie and Jason Bederman, as well as an IBO super middleweight youth title fight between Thomas Oosthuizen and Brazilian Cleber Alves.
The pre-fight medical for this tournament will take place today at the negotiating council chamber at Emperors Palace.
