JOHANNESBURG police foiled a bank robbery in Greenside yesterday when a security guard became suspicious of two men who had entered a Nedbank.
Two other men were waiting in a vehicle outside the bank, spokesperson Captain Cynthia Magoai said.
"The guard called police. When police arrived, the men waiting in the car fled. Upon questioning, it was established the two who had entered the bank were wanted for a number of bank robberies, including a recent one in Primrose, Germiston."
