IN A bonus for school-going tennis fans, the South African Tennis Association (Sata) announced on Wednesday that it would be holding a "School Friday" promotion during the forthcoming Davis Cup tie against India.
The Davis Cup playoff will be hosted by the City of Johannesburg at the Ellis Park Indoor Arena from September 18-20 with the winners progressing to the elite World Group next year.
Sata will be giving away 20 free tickets to each of the first 40 schools to apply for complimentary tickets for the opening day. Interested schools should call Claire Smithard at Sata on 011-442-0500 or e-mail claire@satennis.co.za. - Sapa
