SASFA's Metropolitan Under-16 Cup will move to a higher level on Saturday as three provinces - Limpopo, Free State and KwaZulu-Natal - determine their representatives for the national event.

Tshifulanani Stadium in Lwamondo village will be the battlefield of the Limpopo edition.

Three high schools - Khaiso, Hudson Ntsanwisi and the Andries Sebola-coached Mokopane Academy - have the potential to represent the province.

Osizweni Stadium in Newcastle will spring to life when schools compete for the KwaZulu-Natal leg, with Osizweni High daring to make a comeback at the expense of their challengers . The team of the moment, Umqhele of KwaMashu, has pledged to sustain the momentum after qualifying as provincial champs in the Kay Motsepe Cup.

Bohlokong Stadium will be a place of pain on Saturday in a defining moment for Free State. Competitors include regulars Harmony Academy, Dr Reginald Cingo, Ntsu Comprehensive and HTS Louis Botha.
