WE love partying and last weekend we gals spent the nights partying it up with the folk from KwaZulu-Natal.

WE love partying and last weekend we gals spent the nights partying it up with the folk from KwaZulu-Natal.

The launch was the Brothers for Life campaign, which is fabulous because the Aids awareness campaign helps brothers and sisters look after each other.

Johns Hopkins Health and Education South Africa, Sonke Gender Justice, the national Department of Health and the South African National Aids Council are some of the sponsors we'd like to thank for the fabulous weekend.

Saturday was the highlight. We went to KwaMashu for speeches and a free concert, which had the locals on a high.

Sipho Hotstix Mabuse and the Harare folk wowed the crowd and we were shocked to see how many people still enjoyed the song, Burn Out. FreshlyGround and their sexy band members made us laugh with their dance moves, while Zolani made us so proud with that stunning voice.

Spotted Paul Viv in a corner checking out the Zulu boys and we wondered what happened to his Xhosa girlfriend? It was great to see DJ Tira doing what he does best, sorry about your marital problems dog.

Even toddlers and grannies enjoyed the day. We were so grateful there was no alcohol at the concert because it made everyone behave. Oh, and thanks for the lovely lunch and the delicious Mark Williams, who made my day by giving us girls a warm hug, before going into detail about his girlfriend. Eish!
