BLUE Bulls coach Frans Ludeke has warned his charges to focus for the full 80 minutes ahead of their crucial Absa Currie Cup against Western Province at Newlands Stadium on Saturday.

The warning comes after the Bulls only came alive late into the party in their game against arch-rivals the Lions at Ellis Park Stadium at the weekend.

The Bulls trailed 0-17 at the break and went on to lose 20-13.

"It is as if we must be in trouble before we kick into gear. But that can't happen against Province. We must be fully focused from the first to the last minute," Ludeke said.

The Bulls last beat Province in the Cape in 2007. Ludeke has opted to use Heini Adams at scrumhalf and Francois Hougaard on the wing.

He has also kept the pack that played against the Lions unchanged.
