THE BMW 135i coupé has the presence of Julius Malema and the appeal of a princess.

Malema's presence, like that of the 135i coupé, is always felt wherever he goes.

The BMW 135i coupé has great appeal and appearance to make your knees buckle. It was love at first sight for me and the powerful model of the 1-series range.

Powered by a 3,0 six-cylinder with twin turbo engine, our test car was a 6-speed auto transmission steptronic Exclusive.

Its aggressive front and side line makes this car stand out in the crowd.

The top-of-the-range BMW 135i is quite unique in the compact class. It combines supreme driving dynamics with maximum efficiency, and makes driving a pleasurable experience.

The 135i features a unique, dynamic and unmistakable coupé design. It combines the powerful and muscular body of the car with the greenhouse moved far to the rear and offering a particularly light look. This is supported by the short front overhang, long engine compartment lid and long wheelbase to striking silhouette.

The large frameless doors complete the look to give the 135i coupé that final magic. The 135i coupé is fitted as standard with a slightly modified M Aerodynamics Package. The rear seats are ideal for shorter people or kids.

An average man would find it difficult to fit at the rear of the 135i coupé. Hence it is a car for those who are mindful of their pockets relating to petrol costs.

Some of the safety features in the 135i are dynamic stability control, including dynamic traction control and energy-saving electric power steering.

For the technologically savvy it is equipped with the likes of Aux, USB and Bluetooth interfaces.
