AFTER a two-year absence from the national team, Leigh-Ann Zackey was on Sunday again named in the Protea netball squad to represent South Africa at the Cosana games from September 18 to 24 in Durban.

Zackey, a defender, was one of the Proteas stalwarts at the 2007 Word Championship in New Zealand, but she played very little netball last year after taking a break from the game.

She is the only member from Gauteng West in the team and though they ended ninth at the South African tournament held in early August in Port Elizabeth, she was a consistently impressive player.
