TELEVISION viewers can look forward to another thrilling dance reality show - Superdance.

Superdance starts on September 16 and will be broadcast on e.tv at 9.30pm.

The new reality show will search for the most electrifying and skilled Latin dance couple in the country.

For 13 weeks viewers will be introduced to passion and excitement as dancers compete for the prize.

The pressure is on for the participants to impress the judges with their sensual moves and amazing costumes.

The couple that emerges victorious at the end of the competition will be crowned the new King and Queen of Latin Dance and win R20000 a couple. They will also qualify to compete in the Superdance Championship in December.

Competition judges include Michael Wentink, Tebogo Kgobokoe, Kagiso Ntseane and Jonaid Carrera. The four have an established profile in dance.

Viewers will be taken from the extreme auditions nationwide to the nail-biting elimination rounds in Johannesburg.

They will watch as the pairs ignite the dance floor with their mesmerising body movements to impress the judges.

The elimination rounds will provide a change in tempo as the top 12 couples perform a freestyle and studio dance for the adjudicators.

The dancers are rated according to creativity, technique and presentation. Each week the twosome with the lowest scores will bid farewell to their fellow contestants and the grand prize.

The winning pair of Superdance South Africa will share the floor with dance champions from around the world at the Superdance Championship to be broadcast on e.tv in December.
