CASUAL Day falls on Friday and you can mark this day by making the lives of the disabled better.

So instead of just wearing casual clothes and relaxing with the family, you can help improve the lives of the disabled.

This time around you will not do it alone, You will be joining a number of celebrities in the country who are making this day special by buying stickers for R10 at any Absa branch.

To kick off the campaign last week a number of comedians marked the day by performing in casual clothes - from short pants to T-shirt - in the popular comedy show Parker's Comedy at Montecasino.

Tsepo Mogale, pictured, is among those who took part in the campaign.

He is the young comedian who keeps the nation laughing at itself.

"The Casual Day is organised by People Against Suits and Ties (PAST)

"We want you to be a part of it in support of persons with disabilities," the organisers say. "On Friday we want all of South Africa to buy a sticker, dress casually and wear a T-shirt. Last year, with the help of several celebrities, we increased the total collected by R2million. This year we want to raise even more.

"This year the theme is "Drop your suit and Join the Team" and that's exactly what we want you to do, join our team and spread the anti-suit message.

"PAST originated last year as an underground movement against the oppression of suits and ties, and we already have a growing number of members, including Mark Fish and Breyton Pauls," the organisers said.
