SUPERSPORT United will do the wounded Ajax Cape Town no favours in their home Absa Premiership game at Super Stadium tomorrow at 3pm.

SUPERSPORT United will do the wounded Ajax Cape Town no favours in their home Absa Premiership game at Super Stadium tomorrow at 3pm.

This strong warning was issued by spokesperson David Skosana.

"We expect Ajax to throw everything at us, especially after their defeat by Santos on Wednesday, but we will not allow them to pick up the pieces at our expense," he warned.

The Urban Warriors were beaten 2-0 by neighbours Santos while Matsatsanta a Pitori drew 1-1 with Bloemfontein Celtic in another midweek game.

Women in Tshwane will get free access to the stadium.

Captain Ricardo Katza, Brent Carelse and Shane Poggenpoel of United will miss the game due to injuries while lethal striker Anthony Laffor is a doubtful starter.

Meanwhile, a lot will be at stake when Kaizer Chiefs and AmaZulu, two teams with similar problems, come face to face on Sunday at Chatsworth Stadium in Durban.

Both sides were knocked out of the MTN8 semifinals, while on Wednesday AmaZulu were beaten 2-0 by Maritzburg United and Chiefs lost 1-0 to Bidvest Wits.

Usuthu's PRO, Philani Mabaso, says they have to stand their ground and start winning.

"Players don't need to be motivated when playing against a team like Chiefs."

Bobby Mot aung has urged Chiefs supporters to give the club a chance, arguing: "We will be getting results soon."

Other games: tomorrow - Mpumalanga Black Aces v Lamontville Golden Arrows (Ackerville Stadium 3pm), Santos v Mamelodi Sundowns (Newlands Stadium 8.15pm).

Sunday - Wits University v Bloemfontein Celtic (Milpark Stadium at 3pm).
