DEFENSIVE midfielder Masilo Modubi has once more committed himself to Westerlo by signing a new three-year deal with the Belgian club.

This has ended speculation that the hard-working player from Seshego was heading for a new home in Spain or Turkey.

"I have decided not to go anywhere. Westerlo have been very nice to me since I joined them from Chelsea," said Modubi yesterday.

Modubi is back in action after sustaining a hamstring injury during the Bafana Bafana camp to prepare for the Confederations Cup in June.

Fellow South African Anele Ngongca, who plays for Belgian rivals Genk, got his first Bafana Bafana call-up yesterday for the games against Germany and Ireland.
