Some of the questions posed by the JSC during interviews, such as which parties candidates belonged to, are irrelevant and vexatious.

We all know that the purpose of an interview is to assess candidates and select a suitable one for a particular position. Instead the JSC prioritised the issues of gender and ethnicity over the ability of a candidate to do the job.

It is astonishing that the JSC is reserving the imbalances of the past rather than redressing them.
