IN WHAT will be remembered as a thriller of note, Ajax Cape Town prevailed over Kaizer Chiefs at Orlando Stadium yesterday to set up a mouthwatering MTN 8 final with Golden Arrows .

The game ended in a 3-3 draw (Ajax go through 4-3), and although they were bundled out, Chiefs have nothing to be ashamed of, after showing immense character to battle the Urban Warriors.

In the end, Ajax had something extra, and Franklin Cale whose 85th minute scorcher - and Ajax's third goal - would have beaten the best goalkeepers in the world was IT.

The visitors scored first through their captain Brett Evans while Amakhosi equalised through Jose Torrealba before Josta Dladla gave them the lead. Evans equalised for Ajax from the penalty spot. Simphiwe Tshabalala scored Chiefs' third before Cale sealed the deal for Ajax to set up the decider with Arrows, who beat Amazulu 2-0 on Sat urday to win 4-1 on aggregate.
