THOUGH Women's Month is approaching its end, the celebration of women was taken to another level on Saturday night with the MTN Divas in Concert.

The concert was held at the Bassline, downtown Johannesburg.

With the who's who of the entertainment industry on the dance floor, one would have thought it was the MTN Sama after-party.

The night was ignited by Winnie Khumalo with her grooving sounds titled I just wanna live my life.

In a velvet tracksuit Khumalo kept on shaking what her mother gave her, and the men in the audience kept on calling for more.

So the mood was right.

Jamali then came in their rather funny outfits and rocked the house, performing some old classics such as I'm every woman, Love me for me and You make me feel like a natural woman.

Then Thandiswa Mazwai took the night to another level with her traditional romantic hit, Wen'uyingoma, which saw every woman dancing and getting in the vibey mood.

Just when everyone was in the mood the power was cut off, leaving only candles as the source of light.

But that did not dampen the mood of the night.

A few minutes later electricity was restored and the night was wrapped up in style by Unathi.
