The beneficiaries are from poor families in the five districts of the province.
Prominent Bolobedu tycoon Simon Mabelane yesterday offered free bursaries to the 10 beneficiaries to enrol for studies in health, engineering and business fields.
The studies will cost R10800 for each student.
The beneficiaries were selected from the Capricorn district, Mopani, Vhembe, Sekhukhune and Waterberg with the help of ward councillors, community development workers and social workers.
The youths will study at the Modjadji Technical College or Nchebeko Skills Consultancy in Kgapane in the Modjadjiskloof area of the Mopani district municipality.
"This will make us become employable, thanks to Mabelane for pouring his heart out to help us better our lives and those of our families," said the elated Gladys Monyela from Mopani.
Speaking at a glittering ceremony in Nkowankowa Stadium in Giyani, Mabelane said young people were in the majority in jails because of crime.
He added that young people needed special interventions not only from government but also from business people to help them stand on their feet.
