SOCCER fans are angry over Wednesday night's delayed game between Bafana Bafana and Serbia, "but the SABC is not to blame".

The game kicked off at 7pm but was only screened at 8.30pm on SABC1.

Safa spokesperson Morio Sanyane said yesterday: "We have an agreement with the SABC that all night mid-week matches must be played at 8.30pm, and not earlier."

The Serbian team delegation had also indicated that they had to fly back home the same night after the game, hence the inconvenience.
