Bafana lesson

The Springboks' clinical destruction of New Zealand and Australia in the Tri-Nations Cup over the past three weeks bears testimony to rugby's sound administration and squad continuity.

Confirmed as the official number one team in the world yesterday, the Boks have indeed turned full circle from being a tentative group of talented individuals beset with self-doubt and a divisive administration to being a self-assured, purposeful unit destined to rule the rugby world for the next few seasons.

Coach Peter de Villiers has infused the team with self-belief with his philosophy of allowing his players the freedom to express themselves.
