Louw threat case before court

THE woman who sent death threats to Idols judge Mara Louw is likely to be sentenced today. Shaheeda Diedrick is expected to appear in the Randburg magistrate's court on charges of crimen injuria.

Diedrick threatened Louw after she had commented about one of the Idols contestants Sasha-Lee Davids, who had incorrectly been declared the winner. Louw suggested that she should relinquish her title after a vote recount showed that she had scored 200000 less votes than the winner, Jason Hartman. - Zinhle Mapumulo
