NAIROBI - US Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton yesterday said she planned to push South Africa to do more to counter what she called the "negative effects" of President Robert Mugabe on the reform process in Zimbabwe.

Mugabe's Zanu-PF and Morgan Tsvangirai's Movement for Democratic Change (MDC) struck a deal in February to share power but the MDC accuses Mugabe of not fulfilling his end of the bargain.

"I intend to speak about strengthening the reform movement inside Zimbabwe," she said. - Sapa-dpa
