Law favours good citizens

I DO not understand the way South Africans view our country's justice system.

I DO not understand the way South Africans view our country's justice system.

We have a tendency to focus on how the law acts against criminals and citizens who act like barbarians and forget to highlight the good aspects of the country's justice system.

People need to see what is good in the justice system and Constitution and also to embrace the law that fights criminal activity.

We need to educate our society about their rights and how they can use the law to protect themselves and their properties.

The South African justice system is not only about sending criminals to prison. It is also about helping citizens understand their rights and privileges, which are to stand up against all forms of ill-treatment and abuse.

By teaching our people how to use the law to benefit society and to use the Constitution to improve the lives of all South Africans, all citizens have the power to reduce crime and improve our lives.

South African law does not work against society but against criminal activity.

Let us educate our people on how the justice system works so that our communities will understand that our laws do not work against them, but rather works for citizens who respect the laws of the country.

Every household obeys and respects its laws, so why can't citizens obey the country's laws?

Let us begin by educating people and in this way and we will at the same time reduce crime.
