TAKALANI "The Panther" Ndlovu's wish for a second chance to win the IBF junior featherweight belt has come true, thanks to promoter Branco Milenkovic.

The shrewd boxing promoter announced yesterday that Ndlovu will fight Spaniard Kiko Martinez for the title eliminator at Wembley Arena on September 25. The winner will challenge Panamanian champion Celestino Caballero.

Ndlovu failed to oust Steve Molitor as the IBF king in 2007. Molitor stopped him in the ninth round and was in turn stopped in four rounds by Caballero in November last year.

Ndlovu is rated fifth by the sanctioning body while "La Sensación" Martinez, the former European Union champion is rated eighth.

Milenkovic revealed that he secured the title elimination fight for Ndlovu last Friday, a few hours after Ndlovu and Daniel Bruwer had signed with him.

Ndlovu and "Billy the Kid" Bruwer, the national light heavyweight champion, were promoted by World Sports Promotions.

Milenkovic further announced that Bruwer would challenge for the vacant WBO Africa belt in the main supporting bout to the Ndlovu-Martinez clash. He said Bruwer's opponent would be confirmed soon.

Milenkovic's new find, Zolani Tete, the WBF flyweight holder, will fight for the WBO Africa title against a yet to be confirmed opponent.

Meanwhile, Michael Schultz and Vus'Umuzi Malinga will feature in other undercard fights. Schultz is making a comeback from retirement in 1998. He was undefeated after 14 fights.

Malinga last fought in March when he was stopped in one round by WBC champion Hozumi Hasegawa in Japan.

Ndlovu, the WBF holder, and Malinga are trained by their fathers Stanley Ndlovu and Jabulani Malinga, while Bruwer, Tete and Schultz are under the tutelage of trainer Nick Durandt.

Milenkovic said tickets for the boxing extravaganza would be sold exclusively at Computicket outlets.
