THE mansion in which former Limpopo premier Sello Moloto lived for five years will now be used as a government guesthouse.

Limpopo government spokesperson Mohale Nchabeleng announced this yesterday.

Nchabeleng said the decision to convert the house into a guest house was taken by the Limpopo government's executive committee recently.

"We have decided to convert it into a guesthouse to accommodate important government guests visiting our province.

"It will also be used to conduct important government meetings and entertain guests," he said.

The decision comes after current Limpopo premier and ANC provincial chairperson Cassel Mathale flatly refused to move into the house in Dalmada.

Mathale said he was comfortable living in his own multimillion rand mansion in posh Sterk Park.

Moloto is now Cope's provincial chairperson.
