A 13-YEAR-OLD girl, allegedly the victim of rape, is in a place of safety after sexually assaulting her eight-year-old brother, Gauteng police said.

The girl, from Wattville near Benoni, was allegedly raped on Friday, said Constable Godin Nyathi yesterday.

"After the rape, she allegedly displayed some abnormal behaviour.

"She started raping her eight-year-old brother," Nyathi said.

The mother, alarmed, suspected her daughter had been raped and contacted police.

"She has been disturbed, she is very violent," said Nyathi.
